Transferring DNS Domain from registrar to ICDC DNS application

This article demonstrates how to migrate your DNS records to a ICDC DNS provider.

Creating a Domain in the ICDC DNS application

Refer to the article on creating DNS domains.

Changing the Nameservers at the Domain Registrar

Sign in to your domain registrar's system and update the NS records to the ICDC DNS provider's NS records.
Usually, NS records look like ns.dns.LOC.icdc.io where LOC is the location of your provider.

Important

If the domain registrar does not accept a single NS record and requires two, you should use the following records to ensure the domain works correctly:
ns.dns.LOC.icdc.io
x1.ns.dns.LOC.icdc.io

Info

You can check the NS records for your location here.

Recreating DNS records in the ICDC DNS application
