VM Restart

It is not necessary to restart the VM when increasing memory capacity. After changing any other parameters, you need to restart the VM.

When you change the CPU, the number of sockets and cores changes. 1. If you select CPU <= 4 then the CPU is distributed on 1 socket, so the number of cores = CPU. 2. If you select CPU > 4, then the CPU is distributed between 2 sockets, so the number of cores = CPU/2.

Number of sockets and cores according to the selected CPU are presented in this table:

CPU Sockets Cores
1 1 1
2 1 2
3 1 3
4 1 4
6 2 3
8 2 4
